Namely the ironfangs pikemen I know you guys did warn me the bended poles was bad but I did not expect it to be that bad.

Oh well managed to fix it and hopefully a good army transport case will be able to accomodate for that huge flaw.

models with such skinny parts should not be made of pewter its way to easy to bend.
So a dwarf walks into a tavern with a steering wheel in his pants.
The bartender turns to him and says "You've got a steering wheel in your pants!"
The dwarf responds. "I know, it's driving me nuts!"

It's unlikely we will see any plastic small based models any time soon. Privateer stated that plastics will be restricted mostly to warjacks and medium based infantry when they released the first plastics. That was less about a year ago, and with all the problems they've had with production of the plastics, I don't think they are likely to change their minds any time soon.

Not to come off snooty, but the warcasters in the new all-plastic faction starter boxes are just that... plastic. It doesn't mean that plastic troops are imminent, but it is a positive step towards that none-the-less. But the mean time, we're stuck with using brass rod replacements.

Speaking of brass rods where can I find some?

Would any hobby shop do or is it something I should look elsewhere?

Pardon me if it sounds stupid but that part of the hobby I usually tried to avoid as I don't like trying to clip off parts in a attempt to fix/modify something at the risk of messing it up cause of my own inexperience.

They did come out with plastic Fenblades for Trollkins and are coming out with Trollkin Scouts. All small bases.
Besides the release of the new plastic starter kits im not 100% sure that the warcasters MIGHT be plastic Too!

Aren't all trolls medium based except for pygs and welps?
You must construct addition pylons.

All Trollblood infantry except for Pyg Burrowers, Pyg Bushwhackers, and Whelps are medium based. The warcasters in those boxes are plastic, but the decision to do plastic Warcasters was to keep the whole box plastic.
