So Orionii and i finished one of the most rediculous games of fantasy I think either of us has ever played. It was his Lizardmen vs. my Chaos Warriors and it started innocently enough, we rolled mission 4 (the banner mission) and we got 7 pieces of terrain. This is where the fun started; two of our seven terrain pieces were Temples of Skulls. For those of you who don't know, the ToS is a hill and any character or champion on it can take a chance at the start of each player turn. On a 2-6 the Dark Gods gifts you with D3 to a random stat. On a 1 they eat your soul and the model is removed. Needless to say we each wanted a piece of this action so each deployment zone had a ToS in it and each had a unit deployed on it. A full Saurus unit with hand wep/shield and BSB wnt on his and I placed a 12 man Slaanesh warrior unit also with hand wep/shield. Mine also had a Khorne Lord on jugger and a BSB in it. At first turn we imeadiatly started with the ToS and we determined how to roll for the stats. First we would roll a D3; 1-2 being M, WS and BS; 3-4 being S, T and W; 5-6 being I, A and LD. Second we would roll another D3 this time 1-2 being the first stat 3-4 being the second and so on. He started it off getting +1 W on his BSB and +1 BS on his unit champ. Not to be outdone by some reptiles, my Lord rolled and got +3 T, which caused Orionii to start getting scared. He had cause. Over the next couple of turns my Lord was granted a further +3 S and +3 WS, also my BSB got a +3 W boost. My champ did give his soul to Chaos, but Orionii didn't have much luck mainly getting BS boosts and and an I boost to bring his Scar-Vet to I 5. Not wanting to tempt luck any further i started to push foward, losing many warriors to the Comet of Cassandora but i finally reached his battle lines. His luck finally had finally run out as first his champ and then his BSB lost their souls to Chaos at the same time as his Slaan miscast and rolled a 7, a S 10 hit on all in base contact (ouch). At this point it was game as my Lord had reached his depleated Temple Guard and had even managed to win combat against a flanking Saurus unit. All in all a GG
